Exact: Verbatism, precise.
The 97.6 yard run made in the 4th quarter started at 4:36 and ended at 3:40 on the clock was a very secsesfull score for the team.

Figurative: Serving an illustration.
That game was like the missing peice of the puzzle for our school this year. It was shaped like vistory and fit in the missing boo yah slot!

Formal: academic, conventional.
Sir, that game should be nothing short of a slendor to watch again on the Television tonight! It would be unwise for you to miss such an spectacular event!

Grotesque: hideous, deformed.
The tackle made by the other teams offensive lineman that broke Jeff's leg was gruesome. The cracking of the bone and his screaming peirced through even the loudest of crowds, directly to the ears of everyone.

Homespun: folksy, homey, native, rustic.
That foseball game was somthin else! It was more fun den a hog tiein in a mud pit.
